Vienna, Austria — 20 July 2026. ToolSense has been named a finalist for Technological Innovation of the Year at the European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards 2026. The 2026 shortlist was announced on 15 July by European Cleaning Journal, which founds and organises the awards, and finalists were selected by an independent panel of industry judges from entries across Europe. Winners are announced at the gala dinner on 8 October in Palma de Mallorca.
Why ToolSense was shortlisted
ToolSense is the FM Operations Platform that lets facility services companies and in-house teams run machines, equipment, robots, and vehicles from one system. The Technological Innovation category recognises the work of bringing very different systems into a single operational picture. ToolSense connects machines over IoT, integrates the OEM and robot cloud platforms customers already use, and adds QR-code workflows at the machine for equipment that is not connected yet. All of it feeds one live data model, so an operations team sees every asset and every robot brand in one dashboard.
That approach is now running at scale. ToolSense works with more than 200 customers across 30+ countries and pulls live data from over 50,000 assets in the field, with AssetHub for equipment and maintenance and RoboHub for multi-brand robot fleets. ISS Austria, for example, manages more than 6,500 cleaning machines on the platform, and LIWO Group has standardised on ToolSense across every country in which it operates.
Being shortlisted by an independent panel of industry judges means a lot to us, because it reflects what our customers achieve with ToolSense every day. Facility services companies are running more machines, more robots, and more data than ever, and they need one place to manage all of it. We are proud that the work our team and our customers have put into that is being recognised across Europe.
This category comes down to making very different systems work together. The European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards are founded and organised by European Cleaning Journal and are now in their ninth year. They are the only pan-European awards dedicated to innovation and best practice in the professional cleaning and hygiene sector. The 2026 shortlist spans 11 categories, and winners will be announced at the gala dinner on 8 October 2026 at Pueblo Español in Palma de Mallorca.
