Vienna, Austria — September 2026. ToolSense, the AI-powered asset operations platform for facility management, today announced the appointment of Jim Darragh as Chair of the company's Board. The appointment comes as ToolSense continues to scale internationally, building on its recent investment from GRO Capital and its mission to replace paper, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools with one intelligent platform for facility management teams.
Jim is an experienced Chair of growth-stage businesses, bringing nearly a decade of relevant experience growing Totalmobile in the field service management market. He will work closely with the leadership team to support ToolSense's growth across Europe and beyond.
A Pivotal Moment in the ToolSense Journey
Speaking on his appointment, Jim said he was delighted and genuinely excited to be joining ToolSense at such a pivotal moment in the company's journey. He said he has been impressed by the platform's traction with over 200 customers across 30+ countries, and by the ambition of the team to become the global leader in asset operations for facility management. Jim added that he looks forward to helping guide the company through its next chapter of growth.
Alexander Manafi, Co-Founder and CEO of ToolSense, welcomed the appointment:
We're thrilled to have Jim join ToolSense as Chair. His experience and perspective will be a huge asset to us as we scale internationally and continue building the platform that FM teams rely on to run their operations. This is an exciting moment for ToolSense, and having Jim on board strengthens our ability to execute on that ambition.

Christopher Ager, Partner at GRO Capital, which led ToolSense's investment through its Generation Fund I, also commented:
ToolSense has all the hallmarks of a category leader — strong customer traction, a clear product vision, and a team that executes. Jim's appointment as Chair is a great addition to that story, and we're confident he'll help ToolSense accelerate its growth as it expands across Europe and beyond.
