Manual everything, until ToolSense

Like most distributors, Viking Gulf had been running its asset management on Excel sheets. Tracking the units it distributes internally and supporting customers in tracking theirs was time-consuming and brittle, easy enough one machine at a time, but exhausting at scale, and impossible to pull a history out of.

The link to ToolSense came through a shared customer. From that introduction the conversation moved fast: was ToolSense the right asset platform not just for Viking Gulf’s internal fleet, but also as something to recommend onward to its own customer base?

Two use cases, one platform

Carsten describes the value as β€œtwo things at once.” Internally, ToolSense gives Viking Gulf clarity on every unit it distributes and operates. Externally, it gives Viking Gulf a credible recommendation for its end customers, a way to extend the value of every machine sold with a real maintenance and visibility layer behind it.

Without a system everything is manual, Excel sheets and a lot of work to manage assets. ToolSense solves it for us internally, and lets us show our customers a better way too.
